Let me put it to you this way; I have been through a few things in my life to know what a struggle decluttering and organizing can be when you’re going through life’s messes.
How do you pack a box when you’re broken hearted? How do you unpack?
How do you focus on what needs to get done around the house, when you’re scared to death because you want to fight for your dreams so bad?
How do you know which pictures to keep and which to declutter after a divorce?
A life-changing, earth-shattering event?
How do you know which shelf or drawer to clear when all you want to do is scream into a pillow with frustration because, at that moment, you don’t know which feel to feel?
I’ve been there…..ALL of them. And a whole lot more.
It’s not easy. And it’s not supposed to be easy. This is life. This is the hardcore sh*t people go through when dealing with life’s messes. And sometimes, it’s the best thing that could ever happen, you just don’t realize it until the storm passes.
Here’s the thing. Your physical clutter is only a consequence of the internal clutter that is happening in your life. I know, that’s a hard pill to swallow. It was for me. Maybe this is why I built a local cleaning and organizing business. I couldn’t deal or declutter my own life, so I started helping others declutter theirs.
And with each house I cleaned and decluttered, I felt better. Empowered. Happier. Felt more in control of my own life.
And it hit me…..I clean when I’m mad...sad….angry….or upset. And afterward, I feel soooo much better! I’ve even had comments from friends who I visit say that maybe they just need to piss me off if they want their house cleaned (FYI...don’t do that!). And I actually enjoy it. I really do. But I didn’t realize before “why” I enjoyed it.
So of course, I researched. A lot. Stats. Books. Videos. People. Ideas. Okay, I know there are still things I haven’t read/seen, but there was a lot I checked out. Even examined my own life.
So I thought; clearly, I can’t be the only one that goes through this? Right?!?
There must be a way I can help people recognize that their physical clutter is a result of what’s going on in their minds, their life, their business. And with guidance through the physical decluttering, they can find mental clarity.
I can help you propel faster through the “muck” of all the clutter. Because I actually enjoy decluttering and organizing. And sometimes, all you need is someone to look at it from a different angle.
